Internet Constellations
To connect on the internet for a constellation it's best to have a computer with at least a broadband connection, a web cam, a microphone, sound capabilities with Skype and Pamela Professional Edition installed.- Best
- I primarily use Skype for internet Dynamic Constellations and Sessions. This way I can broadcast your session to you with video and sound. You will be able to view and hear the session via my web cam to your monitor and my microphone to your speakers. I prefer you have a web cam, microphone and sound capabilities on your computer too since the session can be the more interactive when I can see and hear you also. It's best to have at least a broadband internet connection so we have uninterrupted Skype services.
- Almost As Good
- If you do not have a web cam you can still view the constellation on your monitor and hear my broadcast through your speakers. If you have a microphone and sound capabilities I will be able to hear you but I will miss seeing any responses to the work but the constellation will still be successful.
- Still Works
- If you don't have a web cam or a microphone, you can still see and hear my broadcast but I won't be able to see or hear you. You will have to type any questions or comments you have in the instant text messenger window that is displayed under my video broadcast.
- Minimal Requirement
- You must have the current version of Skype installed on your computer so we can connect for the constellation.
If you are unable to use these tools I can still do a remote constellation, video record the constellation and send you a copy. You won't be able to interact during the constellation but you will still benefit.
Technical Difficulties During A Constellation
My intention is to video record all constellations and sessions. Mind you this is not done with high quality production equipment nor involve any editing — it's a web cam or a Nikon CoolPix – and the use of two free applications that utilize VoIP. And this also means, when it comes to internet constellations, we're at the mercy of a broadband internet service provider. These things fail on occasion. Sometimes unavoidable complications arise after we've already started.
If we're in the middle of a constellation and we lose connection, we'll just resume where we left off. If we are unable to resume due to lack of service we'll have to reschedule to finish the constellation. I usually don't have any problem doing this as I diagram out the constellation as it stands and take notes. When we resume the constellation at a later time, I just set everything up for where we were and account for anything major that has changed in the mean time.
On Recordings
When paying for a constellation or a session, you are not paying for the video recording — you are paying for the execution of the constellation and the session. Video recordings are not guaranteed. If there is any technical difficulty with a recording during the constellation or session, or during handling, storage, uploading or downloading, the constellation or session will not be re–executed. Consider the video a bonus — it's the constellation work that really matters. If there is an "Rx" moment in the constellation (sometimes there is a solution that requires actions later or a 'to do' to help complete the resolution) I will do my best to try and 'reconstitute' that segment of the constellation enough to write it down and send you the information. Regardless, the benefits occur.
Languages
English is really my only language (other than Phenomenological English, Humanese and Slanguage). Due to the nature of constellation work, speaking the same language is not critical. Much of what transpires during a constellation occurs wordlessly, and without commentary. Much of the benefit received by the client is internal and need not be explained to the facilitator. This means any language difference will not prohibit a constellation from being successful. Although Sessions are more interactive, the constellation will still work. If you'd like translation, you can bring an interpreter if you choose or have your recording translated.
